Choral / Unison Children's Chorus or Soprano Solo, SATB, Piano

This is a  setting of three texts that deal with peace: Isaiah 2:4, Psalm 133:1 and Psalm 34:12-14.  The work begins with an angular piano introduction and the SATB choir singing a somewhat strident setting of Lo yisa goy (Isiah 2:4).  The piece evolves with the calming voices of the children singing Hinei mah tov (Psalm 133:1).  Eventually the two choirs come together in a tuneful setting of Mi ha'ish (Psalm 34:12-14).   The work ends in a chorale using the text of Hinei mah tov.  The primary text is in Hebrew and a pronunciation guide is provided, as well as an alternative English text.
