Learn from a man listed by Rolling Stone as one of the greatest guitarists in popular music history. Richard Thompson's playing encompasses Celtic and British traditional music, American country, rock 'n 'roll and his own indefinable but widely admired style. You'll learn various tunings along with contemporary picking techniques, rhythms and stylistic innovations that will help you get the maximum musical expression from your instrument. These three CD lessons will enhance your fingerpicking and flatpicking technique while providing you with new ideas and approaches to traditional and contemporary music.
